Encapsulation

Encapsulation is a food-science technique that locks volatile aromatics, fats and other fragile compounds inside a stable carrier matrix, usually during spray drying. The payload stays protected through months of ambient storage and releases only on contact with hot liquid.
For beverage operators this is the mechanism that turns a perishable flavor profile into a dry, shelf-stable SKU. Cardamom top notes, dairy caramel tones and vanilla aromatics survive 18 months in a doypack instead of fading on a hot plate within an hour.
The Base uses encapsulation across its soluble bases so the cup tastes freshly brewed at the moment of preparation, not at the moment of production.
